How does Kaysons compare to Aakash, Bansal and VMC in DLP?

Kaysons DLP
The competition to grab a seat in the most coveted engineering institute of India is on an upsurge and the toil and struggle to crack the examination JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) to enter into IITs, IIITs, NITs and other CFTIs have seen an uprise. With a dramatic increase in competition, the education served in the school level proves to be insufficient and enrolment into a coaching institution seems like the best choice. In such an environment, there is strict importance to assess the quality of material so that students can judge and employ it to grab the best among the study material. We have Kaysons in the race of best distance learning program along with Aakash, Bansal and VMC. While Kayson chiefly differs from the rest three in terms of being a total e-learning environment, it’s feature manages to be comprehensive and incorporate new-age technology and has made it a popular choice. It is however important for the discussion to be out for everyone and allow the decision to be taken in an unbiased manner rather than putting one over other without substantial proof.

Aakash is a coaching institute founded in the year 1988 to train young and budding talent, aspiring to crack the toughest of Medical Entrance Exams. However, Aakash IIT-JEE was found much later in 2007 and is continuing to meet its vision of ‘adroit management’, ‘proficient teaching methodology’, and ‘result-oriented approach’.

Its e-learning platform manages to provide Study Material Package with special question bans, Live Online Classes (recording available), Online Test with Modular Analysis, All India Test Series, Quick Doubt Clarification, Online Parent-Teacher Meeting. The above feature makes it eligible for a total solution covering study materials, doubt clearance and problem-solving. However, the total package comes at an exorbitant price over Rs. 1 Lakh which is pretty high for students with financial constraints. Along with this constraint, Aakash is now known to be a major player in the engineering industry and thus poses a question on its ability to compete with the rest. Its DLP program comes at a cost of Rs. 19740 which contains study materials, test series and unique question banks. However, it lacks all the other features which are quite insufficient for jee preparation.

Bansal is known to be the first coaching institute in the mecca of coaching hub Kota. Founded in 1991 by Vinod Bansal, it had emerged to be the primary focus of all students. However, with time, it has faced stiff competition from other organizations and no more enjoys the top position.

Bansal’s distance learning program contains the fundamental study materials, master problem package, final step package for revision and final touch and Bansal All India Test Series at the centre. All the benefits come at a cost of Rs. 22,990 but manages to miss out the essential doubt clearance. The lack of doubt clearance coupled with the difficulty in comprehending the study modules prove to be a clear hindrance for the students.

Founded in 1989 by IIT-Delhi alumnus Brij Mohan Gupta, VMC has grown over the years providing quality education, allowing the students to explore their own potential and helping them to fulfill their dream of getting into the prestigious institutions.

VMC’s premium course – IIT JEE Correspondence emphasizes mostly on self-study. The package contains study materials, over 150 hours of video lectures, Test Series at centres, Online Assessment & Practice and Booster Classroom Courses over 60 hours for the final preparation stage. VMC has managed to put the important elements together in a comprehensive manner priced at an affordable Rs. 25,000. The cost coupled with the emphasis on self-study and video modules makes it a reasonable choice. However, the lack of doubt clearance as mentioned earlier can still cause trouble and distress disrupting the preparation. VMC’s e-learning initiative known as “FlipLearn”, while comprehensive comes at a cost of Rs. 84,500 to 1,30,000 for live classes and recorded lectures respectively.

Established in 2009, Kaysons Education started with an objective to provide detailed, comprehensive guidance to students aspiring for different competitive examinations across India. With the use of cutting edge technology, expert guidance and online support, it’s aim has been to guide students all over India, while reaching out to students in the remote corners of the country. It accomplishes all of the above with the help of solutions not offered elsewhere such as doubt clearance and complete support with tier-based level education delivery.

Kaysons’ IIT JEE 2021 DLP program contains the benefits of Video Lectures (360 Hours), Test Series with Computer-Based Tests, Question Bank (30,000 questions with solution), Doubt Clearing, Study Material, Ranker’s Level and Make Me IITian. The entire package comes at a cost of Rs. 20,000 in USB and SD card mode while getting the above features in a tablet costs Rs. 25,000. The price along with the complete support makes it one of the best solutions.

Only two of the above four, VMC and Kaysons has managed to put video lectures at an affordable cost and are comprehensive in manner. But, Kaysons brushes past VMC in terms of doubt-clearance which becomes decisive during the tough phases of the preparation which are plenty. While rest institutions are impressive in terms of offline-coaching, their domination either over the medical industry or a lack of direction towards e-learning makes VMC and Kayson come ahead and grab the top positions as the best distance learning programs for JEE Main & JEE Advanced. One can choose both, but doubt clearance is imperative for successful JEE preparation and hence needs to be taken care of.
